About DONNA VEATCH

Throughout Donna Veatch’s career spanning well over thirty-five years, she is humbled and thankful to the many individuals along the way that opened doors to countless career opportunities and experiences. Each of those opportunities have broadened Donna’s depth of knowledge professionally and also validated her belief that relationship building and pushing one beyond their comfort zone are the keys to personal and professional growth. Through those open doors of opportunity, Donna has served in numerous roles while crisscrossing the nation and connecting with thousands of dedicated individuals committed to

making a difference.

• Federal Monitoring Review Team Member 
• Logistical Lead for Office of Head Start (OHS) National Training and Technical Assistance  Professional Development 
• Events and Logistical Training Contractor for DANYA International
• National Center on Program Management and Fiscal Operations (PMFO) Team Lead for Office of Head Start (OHS) initiatives including the national roll out of the revised 2016 Head Start Program Performance Standards
• PMFO Program Management Content Area Specialist responsible for providing training across all systems of Head Start program management
• University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Project Manager of the Real Properties Facilities Initiative (RPFI) responsible for assisting with startup and oversight of twelve OHS Regional Office RPFI Experts
• Past Board Member of the National Head Start Association serving four consecutive terms
• CDA Advisor and Representative for the Council for Professional Recognition

• Former Head Start direct field experience having served as a Classroom Lead Teacher, Parent Involvement Coordinator, and Education/Program Operations Manager responsible for a nine-county service area. 

Donna Veatch is a 2005 graduate of the UCLA Johnson and Johnson’s Fellows Program and 2013 Nike Starting Block Training Institute. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Family Development as well as master’s certifications from Avila University in the areas of

Executive Coaching and Leadership. She is a life-long learner who continues her pursuit of knowledge by participating in numerous professional organizations, training initiatives as well as self-study. Donna also serves as the Managing Member of the Donna Veatch Group, formed in 2003 and registered as a woman-owned small business limited liability company since 2006.
